Video, images, RAW, Office docs, XML, HTML, PDF, the list doesn’t stop here. Elvis renders thumbnails, previews and reads out all embedded metadata. The result are lightweight, high quality previews representing the heavier originals.
Scalable clustering
To meet demands in scalability, the Elvis processing engine can be clustered. Using multiple processing nodes will scale up processing performance easily. A zero-config install ensures a maximum of flexibility and only using hardware when necessary for peak ingestion.
Fully text indexed, semantically enriched
All text-based files will be fully text indexed in Elvis. Due to the Elvis integration with OpenCalais the metadata of the text-based files will be enriched semantically. People, locations, events and more will be added as rich metadata in Elvis.
Processing at high speed
The Elvis media processing engine is a very powerful engine that will render previews, thumbnails an read out all embedded metadata. Due to the optimized architecture, the processing engine will render up to 30.000 files per hour on Apple Hardware.
Embedded and Custom Metadata
Elvis extracts EXIF and XMP metadata, so camera information, copyright or keywords are all added to the Elvis search index. Elvis currently supports an extensive 300+ metadata list, but custom metadata can be configured to apply organization- or event specific information to the assets.
