Fast, intuitive, easy to use
Elvis has a user interface that is designed to be easy to understand. Clear buttons and logical interaction quickly helps the user on its way. Within the Elvis user interface a user will find familiar concepts. A tag cloud, tab based browsing, folders and filtering options all offer a familiar experience to the user.
UI matches user capabilities
Based on the profile of a user, the user interface can match the user’s role. Only the functionality the user needs is present in the user interface. Preferences in browsing, viewing of results preferred visible metadata fields are saved in the user profile. Furthermore, favorite collections, folders and searches can be saved in the profile, creating an interface that fits the user like a glove.
Communicate with the outside world
The Elvis web interface is designed for collaboration with external users. This interface allows Elvis users to send collections of content to outside users that do not have an Elvis login. External users can download, edit metadata and upload assets in to collections. The Elvis-generated link to this interface will recognize if the device asks for the Flex or HTML5 version, making Elvis beneficial on any device.
Elvis desktop client
The main Elvis user interface is a lightweight desktop client. Designed for the intense user that needs easy access and a rich feature-set to manage assets. The Elvis client has full desktop integration, while it also offers all functionality when the user is remotely connected over the internet or VPN. The Elvis desktop client is easy to install and distribute, and updates can be broadcasted server-side, making Elvis maintenance easy for the IT department.
